The structure of the filter drier
The filter drier shell is made of red copper pipes. The inlet and outlet ports at both ends have the same diameter and different diameters. The inlet end is a coarse metal mesh, and the outlet end is a fine metal mesh, which can effectively filter impurities. Built-in molecular sieve with excellent moisture absorption properties is used as a desiccant to absorb the moisture in the refrigerant to ensure the smooth flow of the capillary tube and the normal operation of the refrigeration system. When the desiccant fails due to excessive water absorption, it should be replaced in time.
The other type of filter is the same as the filter drier, which is formed by a rolling process, but only contains a metal mesh without a desiccant. It is installed on the relevant parts or pipelines at the front end of the capillary tube of the refrigeration system, or installed at the inlet and outlet ends of the electronic expansion valve to collect solid impurities in the refrigeration system and lubricating oil, prevent the system, capillary tubes and expansion valves from being blocked, and ensure the smooth flow of the pipeline system .

2. Working principle
The liquid flows into the filter from the inlet under a certain pressure, the impurities are trapped by the filter medium in the filter, and the filtered liquid flows out from the outlet. When the filtration reaches a certain stage, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet increases, and the filter element needs to be backwashed. At this time, the backwash valve is opened, and the hydraulic pressure flows from the backwash water inlet from bottom to top for flushing, and the filter restores the filtering function. The filter element is a replaceable element. After the filter has been running for a certain period of time, the filter element should be removed and replaced with a new one to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of filtration.
